The demand for trades is very high. We are quickly becoming over educated and under skilled. Which is a large reason prices for things like plumbers have skyrocketed and pay for BA's has fallen. The average technician or plumber, these days, likely has as much, if not more lifetime earning potential as a ton of BA's.

Sooo true. I'm working this summer for an oil field company and there are guys that dropped out of high school and got their GEDs making 25+ an hour with OT every day. This is just site construction too, by working on a drilling rigs you can make serious cash. Sometimes makes me question going to law school...or even why I went to college.Patriot1208 wrote:The demand for trades is very high. We are quickly becoming over educated and under skilled. The difference is that a lot of those dudes will be physically broken by the time they are in their 50s. Lawyers can keep working until they keel over.Sooo true.
