Does this mean that it was still showing as $80 under Submit/Pay Fees but then when you actually submitted, they didn't charge you the $80? I'm just wondering if there's a way to find out if I have it before submitting my app.rolark wrote:I found a Georgetown CRS waiver today when I went to apply.

Both. I think it was granted for merit. Need they usually ask for forms.deathviaboredom wrote:Asked based on merit or need?sibley wrote:I asked for some fee waivers yesterday and WUSTL got back to me within the day with one. Re: Post December LSAT Fee Waivers?
When you hit "Submit/Pay Fees" the LSAC website won't automatically send your application; it takes you first to a preview page, then to a certification page, then you add the application to your cart. A CRS waiver will show up in that middle step, after you've previewed the application and before it's in your cart. You can go to this step before your application is complete. If you have a CRS waiver, it will say so above the certifying statement you have to click affirm.gilagarta wrote:Does this mean that it was still showing as $80 under Submit/Pay Fees but then when you actually submitted, they didn't charge you the $80? My Duke application fee was waived when I went to submit online today. Unless I missed it, this was not the case yesterday.
Also got Minnesota, St. Louis, and Loyola today via email.

You don't know until you try to submit if it is hidden. You open the application like you are going to apply, fill out like one line, then go to submit and check. As far as I know thats the only way to determine if it is hidden.
They send waivers to your email.
I also recieved a hidden waiver from duke today! One of the first waivers today that is to a school I am applying to.

Re: Post December LSAT Fee Waivers?
I've seen a box to enter an individual waiver code on several apps when I go to submit. It's in the same place an existing waiver would be, usually the options are "Pay fee online with credit card," "Mail fee to school directly," "Enter individual waiver code: " with a box.Sauer Grapes wrote:If you have a fee waiver code, is there a box to input that? I can't imagine that LSAC would know if you recieved a code to enter by email. Of course, I'm probably wrong.rolark wrote:When you hit "Submit/Pay Fees" the LSAC website won't automatically send your application; it takes you first to a preview page, then to a certification page, then you add the application to your cart. Great! Thanks for the info on the hidden waivers.
FYI, I just got a response from my email request to GWU that they only give need-based waivers automatically w/ the LSAC waiver and have no additional need-based or merit-based waivers. Boo...
