My PS is not about something that happened to me or something I did,

but instead about a thought I once had, and I never say what the thought was.

Will this work out well?

More seriously, how can anyone tell. If you want a critique, post your PS and folk will reply with edits that may or may not help. The only way to know if your PS works is to apply to law schools and see what happens.

This one time, a while ago, a guy wrote a speech about a dream he had. It's very well-regarded and I reckon that if he used the same speech, today, as a personal statement for law school (it might have to be edited for length just a little) I think it'd be a strong play. But most people can't write that well.

true. im not going to post mine here. its one of the many i wrote and i just wrote ita min ago. it wasnt until after re-reading it that i realized the actual thing it was supposed to be about wasnt stated, and i like it that way.
