What is the verdict on paying for help on the personal statement? I am likely to be a splitter. LSDAS GPA at 3.2 with very strong upward trend. My LSAT PT were in the low-mid 170's. I am trying to get into UT Law.
Would it be wise to pay $600 to Kaplan for consulting with the Personal Statement or $1,000 with Powerscore? Money is not really a problem, but I do want my application to be pristine.

I don't really think a consulting service is worth it unless you have a unique situation that requires consulting. You aren't even a splitter yet, but if you are, that's not a unique situation.
