What's the general consensus about disclosing disabilities with law applications?
I want to write about an injury that left me severely disabled for a period of time.
It is a very long story but it all ties in with why I'm trying to become a lawyer. I'm writing about how I had to rebuild my entire life from an accident. It was a near death experience but prior to that accident, I was very much on track and accomplished professionally. I've had to put that all on pause but I want to write about how I'm trying to come out of this happier, and better.
I don't need any physical or cognitive accommodations. That's not my intention. I guess that I am just wary of being looked at as a liability or in other terms, "damaged goods".

It sounds like that would be a pretty good idea for a PS in my opinion. Writing about how you have overcome extreme adversity is definitely a valuable experience, especially if it completely changed the trajectory of your life. As long you focus more on what you learned from the experience and tie it to how you think it will make you successful in LS/practicing law I think you should be fine.
That's just my two cents though.
