Academic Probation Addendum Forum

Hello everyone, I was wondering if I could get some critique on my academic probation addendum:

I would like to explain the circumstances surrounding my being placed on academic probation to the admissions committee.

After the fall semester of my third year at the University of XXX, I was placed on academic probation. During that fall semester, I had been taking three classes, one of which was an online class with a 9 month long term. I received a C in one class and a C- in another class. However, I had not yet completed my third online class and as a result, my grade point average for the term fell below a 2.00 and because of that I was placed on academic probation. After finishing the online class with an A and having my academic record reviewed, my grade point average for that term rose to 2.308 and I was taken off of academic probation.

After being placed on academic probation, I chose a course of study that I enjoyed and was able to excel in. After that semester, I received a 3.00 or higher in my remaining semesters at the University of XXX.



Is there anything else I should add or anything that I should take out? I would really appreciate advice on this.
