GPA Addendum Advice

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Nov 04, 2015 7:52 pm

I know writing a GPA addendum is often useless but I think it may benefit my application and I'm hoping for some advice/feedback.

My LSAC report shows my GPA's yearly progression as "3.67--2.73--3.4--3.64--3.71". At the beginning of the year of the ugly 2.73 GPA my younger sister attempted suicide and this caused me withdraw from a class to make time for my family & group therapy sessions. I also get a D in another class (which I later retook and received a better grade). My grades also show an upward trend afterward. I think this is a solid reason to draft an addendum but would love any advice or suggestions on how to approach this. I have a rough draft so far so if anyone's interested in reading it let me know. Thank you!!

I would. Seems like a valid reason for the dip, and the dip is big enough to justify some reasoning.

Agree with the above post. PM your rough draft if you want a brief critique.
