Having a hard time with DS

Post by Anonymous User » Mon Oct 26, 2015 4:10 pm

I have a couple of things that I could talk about for my DS, but of course I just want to narrow it down to one...

- Always the only black girl in my honors classes and my adjustment to that (leaning towards this one)
- Raised by a single mom
- Attended 4 different elementary and three middle schools
- First generation grad (wanting to save this for BLOS and AnBryce)

Which one do you guys think would be the better topic? I understand that it would depend on how I write the paper, but which sounds more unique/interesting?

I think you should incorporate 1,2, and 4 into a single DS.

Why not incorporate all four into one DS ?

I thought it would be overkill to incorporate all into one story. But if not, I will give it a go. Thanks!

Combine them all. A DS statement is more important for a non-URM trying to snag some extra extra recognition from the administration with borderline stats. You'll be fine.
