I wasn't involved in reviewing and assisting with edits to your previous PS, but just over a page is pretty short in regards to exposing yourself to the adcomms. You are allowed a full two pages (sometimes more depending upon where you are applying). I would encourage you to use as much of that space as possible while writing a strong piece. I would also gear your PS a different way because, although you express some things that may have helped you develop over the years, you 1) make a majority of it open-ended and 2) only truly focus on physical features and reflection on them while only touching your "motivation" in the final sentence. I guess in a way it does represent a sort of steadfastness/comfort with yourself and who you are, but I don't find it that strong of a representation of you as a person because that could be said about almost anybody who makes it through UG...A lot of people come out saying "I don't care what other people think. I'm going to live for myself and be who I am."

You posted an earlier version which was more effective, in my opinion. This version has an odd ending ( "in hopes of one day becoming the norm").

As the poster above noted this is a bit short for a law school PS. With a few minor adjustments, it could be a diversity statement.

This post is coming up on the plagiarism checker, any way to fix this?
