font-size

Post by Anonymous User » Tue Oct 13, 2015 1:25 pm

So I finalized my PS but it's only 1 1/2 page...

Schools like USC/Loyola etc. say 2-3 pages and font no smaller than 10 or at least 12.

When I do size 14, it's 2 pages and a little over on the 3rd. IS this okay? Or... should I write more... I didn't want to make it more verbose...

Font type? Garamond, TNR, or Century. Any one of them is fine, correct?

Thanks everyone!

I actually got a great critique/help from TLS who helped me to really get rid of unnecessary words...
Now I have a problem of it being too short (it's actually harder to add more stuff now that I am satisfied with the final version and have nothing more to say other than just fluffing). But if I change my font to century, which I heard it was okay, it's a full 2 page essay now!

Dude there's a page "requirement" not because they have some computer program that's incapable of processing anything less than 2 pages. The requirement is there because they expect a certain amount of content. Changing the font to make things smaller is sometimes OK if you have a page maximum, but i'd be pissed if someone thought they were tricking me with century font.
