not at all. from what i have seen and heard, one of the most popular strategies is the "growth" PS. in such a statement, you speak of difficult experiences when you were younger, and how you have grown/matured as a result of these experiences; in the end, of course, you are essentially selling the fact that, based on what you have learned from difficult challenges in the past, you are prepared for the challenge ahead.
