Ballet or International Paralegal Experiance
Hello,
I have two topics, and not sure which one is better.
I'm a few drafts though a personal statement about my career as a Ballet dancer and how I mentored younger dancers, and having retired am ready for a more professional career.
I also am a couple of drafts through one where I talk about my experience traveling throughout Europe for the last five years working as a legal assistant which has given me personal experience in international law.
Which topic to you is more unique and likely to get the Admissions to remember me and offer me a place?
Would be happy to swap personal statements, but know in advance that I've been out of school for a while so could really at best just give you an objective opinion if it stands out, reads well, and general comments. Also, I live in Europe so there will be an eight hour time difference. Thus, please be patient if it take a while to respond to your PM (will be at work or asleep probably).
Cheers!

I think the first sounds far more interesting.

If required to select one topic, I would choose the second. Regardless, you need to write draft & then eek comments.

I've already written a draft for both. If you'd like to see them and decide from there PM me.CanadianWolf wrote:If required to select one topic, I would choose the second. Regardless, you need to write draft & then eek comments.

Both of those, are really unique statements. Can you somehow incorporate birth into the essay like a past, present, and future type of thing?

I'll read them & offer a brief critique if you PM them to me.

Would like to, but with a 2-3 page limit I'm not sure how. Something to think about though!AlexandraHope wrote:Both of those, are really unique statements. Can you somehow incorporate birth into the essay like a past, present, and future type of thing?
