I PM'd the DS as well.

I think the first part of it works. The second part (while important) isn't really "unique" at all, though. (My grandmother was a single-parent school teacher as well, and some of the things my mom has told me are very similar to your situation.) I reworded the last part to sound as if the focus was more on your entire background than just the economic situation.

I haven't really looked into the DS too much, so someone else may be able to be of more help.
