"Very Rough Draft" == "I'm lazy" or "I'm embarrassed."
Stop posting "very rough drafts." It's bullshit. Try to polish stuff. At least fix the grammar.
Law school essays take an hour to write. If you're worried about going the wrong direction --it's an hour lost. Don't submit bullshit after 45 minutes where you know you could improve the rest and fix the grammar to make it more readable for the readers on this forum.

Also, it doesn't seem to be about the OP at all. Personal statements are supposed to be the place where the admissions staff can get to know you and why you want to study law.fats provolone wrote:good start but you'll want to use the full 250 words allotted

I've posted one or two "very rough drafts" so far and of course I am definitely not proud of them. But I wouldn't say I posted them because I'm lazy or embarrassed.. I post them to see if they would be a good topics or a good starting points to work off of.. Obviously if your botching the grammar then you shouldn't even go to LS. We've all have or will soon obtain college degrees and there's no excuse for crappy grammar.
Usually my really rough drafts are potential topics that I am unsure about and don't want to develop further if I get confirmation from others that they do in fact suck

So why not just post the topic without your shitty draft?kwabbs wrote:I've posted one or two "very rough drafts" so far and of course I am definitely not proud of them.
