Quick Grammar Question

"The final examination was less a test than a wholehearted confirmation of my interest in continuing to study the law."
or is it "my interest in continuing my study of the law"
OR "my interest to continue studying the law"

better just scrap the whole sentence, nobody wants to go where this is going
