I wrote a personal statement on a certain topic last year and was admitted to 5 schools, waitlisted at one. I am applying this year and would like to reuse the topic but rewriting it for better flow and with a little different perspective and focus. I'll be reapplying to one school that accepted me and the one that waitlisted me. Only one specifically addresses reapplications and says nothing about submitting different documents. In the interim, my LSAT score has jumped about nine percentage points and I'm comfortably over the 75th at both of those schools.
What's guidance on this? Should I pick a different topic for these schools?

You can reuse the same topic. Your new LSAT score will get you in, and I doubt they'll even look at last year's application to see if you changed your PS anyway.
