Course addendum?
I have a 3.79 GPA overall, but I had a 3.87 before last quarter (my school is on the quarter system). I was dealing with familly issues & illness (culminated in me being hospitalized in the summer) and ended up with the only C i have on my transcript. I'm applying ED to duke - should I add an addendum explaining the poor grade?

Yes, so long as you address the issue in a clear manner that isn't whiny. Just explain the facts and note how you have worked to mitigate the consequences.
