I can't say that I love the topic. It doesn't teach me anything interesting nor does it hold my attention. And the writing is not good enough for a 250; for example, you use semicolons incorrectly twice in the first paragraph.

It seems like you're trying too hard and it comes off as unnatural.

To be fair a yale 250 doesn't need to be about the writer
