Is this topic too lame?

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Jan 03, 2014 3:44 pm

I want to write about my time doing college improv (like Whose Line Is It Anyway?) but I'm worried it will seem lame/frivolous compared to others, especially about ones overcoming adversity. Of course, the improv topic is a frame to write about how it affected me and who I am as a person. What are your initial reactions?

Things I plan to talk about:
teamwork, making your partner on stage look good makes you look good
learning from failure
saying "yes and" to be open minded and also adding new info to bring something to the table
make statements, be part of the solution
mistakes are opportunities

Sounds good as long as you write it well, it's not cheesy, and not boring
