LSAT 13 pt difference addendum

Post by hapipepi » Wed Dec 04, 2013 12:39 am

I had a 160 my first one, and 173 the second.

What do you guys think about this addendum?

The night before the December 2012 administration of the LSAT, the anticipation of taking a test of such importance led me to have a night of bad sleep. The morning of the test, the grogginess multiplied my anxiety, which in turn hindered my performance. I had not anticipated such a level of anxiety, as I had not previously experienced it when taking other standardized tests, and thus was not prepared for it.
It was not until receiving my score that I realized that I had underestimated the extent to which my conditions affected my results.
The results of the October 2013 are more representative of my capabilities because I was able to maintain my composure and think clearly throughout the examination, after training myself to remain calm under pressure in this kind of setting.

I appreciate your comments!

I wouldn't worry about it. Most schools don't care.

I wouldn't send an addendum because it will only draw people's attention to your previous bad score.

There is one school who has an area specifically for such an addendum. I'm thinking about uploading it only for that one.

Thoughts? If the school says it is optional do they really want it?
