Samples of Personal Statements Based on Your Passion

Post by SonicRoots » Tue Oct 15, 2013 1:55 am

Personal statements can range from personal events to academic achievements, but can someone provide me some samples of personal statements based on one's passion. Any type of passion. Working on cars, poetry, photography, cooking, etc. I have a personal statement that is based on my passion for music, but I'm having a tough time piecing it together. Thanks guys.

i don't thing "passion" can cut it...no matter what you talk about you bring it to why/how a law degree can help you with that..maybe you can list your thoughts here and people can help you piece them together

Read the first example; it's right up your alley -- case in point, this is a direct quote: "That was how I discovered passion."

You might also look at one or two of the samples in the Ivey Guide's Amazon preview -- I think there's an essay in there about reading. (http://www.amazon.com/The-Ivey-Guide-Sc ... B004KABGMW).
