In submitting an additional statement to a certain school on what makes me unique, I wrote specifically about a severe injury I sustained in the army. I talked about how I subsequently developed Post traumatic stress disorder and how my own actions to overcome it allowed me to discover certain personality traits that I believe will enrich the student body's diversity and leverage the education I receive towards the ambitions I explained elsewhere in my app.
I have no doubt it is well written and that at the very least it makes me stand out. My only concern is that I am essentially disclosing that I had a mental disorder, which I did overcome. Do you think that could be detrimental to my chances in any way?
Thanks for the help!

Re: Diversity Statement Question
This could be a really strong DS, and I doubt it'll affect admissions so much as possible implications for C&F. Was it documented and were there any adverse parts of your history related to it?
I am really hoping I'm flat out wrong because I don't think it should be a problem, but I also don't know enough about C&F to know whether this could have an impact on admission to the bar. Might be something worth looking into though. Either way, thank you for your service and good luck!
