Diversity Statement Question

Post by Anonymous User » Sat Aug 10, 2013 9:10 pm

I have finally edited my PS down to two pages and there is no mention of the films I have directed, although one of my recommenders does mention them. Is this a topic that I can write a DS about or should I just give it some space on the resume?

Keep it in the resume. Although the DS is meant for what will differentiate you from other applicants, unless you can tie it into how you see the world differently from other applicants, it won't serve a purpose for you.

If you can push how directing a story has affected your outlook on the world, then it might be effective. Write something up and TLS can give you better input on this.
