I need help writing a PS/DS. What should I write about? What are some good topic of a personal statement and what are good characteristic of a diversity statement?

Let your personal statement tell a story about you. It can be about anything as long as it's a) interesting, b) is not something already on your resume, and c) convinces adcomms that they want you.

Please please please do not regurgitate your resume onto a personal statement. Try to find some random experience that you found was significant/shaped you/meant something to you and write about it. Adcomms want to get to know you as a person.
