Re: Can you critique my PS?
Sooo.. I'm just a fellow applicant, but most of the advice on this forum is to show a quality that you possess that will make you a good fit for law school. This statement reads to me as this: "I've taken some classes about law! I think it's interesting! let me in!". I don't think it's compelling and it doesn't show me anything really about you.
That being said - how much effort you want to put into this probably depends on where you're aiming for and what your numbers are. I think this statement is pretty bland, and if I were an ad-com, it would make me want to gauge my eyes out.

Re: Can you critique my PS?
This. First, do no harm. The PS is of questionable importance in the Law School admission process. This PS crosses the line to the point where an Adcom may actively try to think of reasons not to admit you. Your goal should be to have your PS get the Adcom on your side. You want them to like you. You want them to give you the benefit of the doubt. Read the Stickies in this subforum and the advice on the main site.fruitoftheloom wrote: if I were an ad-com, it would make me want to gauge my eyes out.
