Professing My Love for TLS

Post by hallbd16 » Thu Dec 20, 2012 11:02 am

We all have thought this before,"I LOVE TLS and want to give THANKS TO THE COMMUNITY"

So, if you are reading this, it likely means that you have contributed to the community in a meaningful way and truly helped another individual accomplish one of their goals. Big shout out to that and a big thanks to the community that is created and sustained here! Keep up the great things everyone!

Ok, sorry for the waste of screen space, done now.

With all due respect (future) counselor, I vehemently disagree. Saying thank you is NEVER a waste of screen space.

Also, I am still accepting PS/DS drafts for editing. PM me. My apps are in, and I am waiting to hear from my first choice (I am sure they want me and are just trying to find a way to justify my GPA. Hopefully my "pro bono work" will help).

I want to thank you for demonstrating to me when it is not appropriate to use the anonymous feature.

O.K., I must confess I didn't catch the "anonymous" part. I agree, that was a douche move. However, if it was accidental.....

Tso disappointed. I clicked on this thread hoping for someone asking if it was a good idea to talk about their love for TLS in their personal statement.

User needs to be outed for this egregious misuse of the anon feature.

OP: Glad you found TLS helpful, and good luck with your applications.
Others ITT: No need to discuss the anon misuse. Just report it. (Thanks to the poster who did report it.)

I'd like to say thanks to Soj, for flexing his real big moderator cock in the on-topics.

He didn't lock it or move it to Lounge, though. 3 stars.

I thought his post was shitty regardless of his identity, and I don't really care about "anon-abuse" therefore I don't really want to report it. Do I have a responsibility to do so, anyways? Did I respond appropriately?

I don't see what's so terrible about a post expressing thanks. I wouldn't call it a responsibility to report, but it really helps if posters report anon abuse.

The thread wasn't supposed to be about my moderating, so I'll go ahead and lock.
