To write an addendum or not?

Post by bzzingbee » Thu Oct 25, 2012 1:38 pm

Basically, the first two years of college I didn't care about my grades. I was in journalism and I focused on writing articles. I skipped class to attend riots, ignored homework to perfect my work in the lighting studio, etc. Then I had kind of an epiphany (too long to describe, my personal statement is about the moment) and realized didn't want to do journalism. Picked up a double major in political science, focused on law courses and my grades improved dramatically. Never got less than an A- on any of my pre-law classes. So, worth even writing an addendum?

I wouldn't write it. If you have an upward grade trend, they will make note of it when reviewing your transcript.
