Diversity statement about major?
Would it be ridiculous to write a diversity statement about the unique viewpoint one could bring to a law school as a result of being a music major?

Yeah, I would think that would be more of a ps type thing to write about. I'm not sure 100% though.

To me, a DS is where you show something unique about yourself that is going to add diversity to the incoming class: something that YOU will bring that no one (or very few others) will bring that will in some way enhance/enrich the class, as a whole. There are lots of (former) artists, actors, musicians, etc in law school... So no, I don't think being a music major is something you'd write about, in a DS. Maybe in your PS, if it were related to why you were now aiming at law school? Dunno.
