I just wanted to start off my first post by saying, that i have been reading these forums and have to admit everyone here is a great addition and help, to even those who have not posted and just look at responses. The reason i am posting is that i wanted to have your opinions on my character and fitness addendum.
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

On --------- I was arrested for misdemeanor DUI, a day that I think about and regret every day since. The officer stated that I swerved and made an abrupt lane change, and I failed the field sobriety tests. Although it was on this day that I would make the greatest mistake of my life From this mistake, I have learned, grown, and matured, to never place myself in this position again. I wouldpleaded no contest to this charge, and received time served for 1 day in county jail, probation for 3 years, and receive a 3 month first offenders DUI course. The day I spent in Jail had a profound effect on me, but what I learned from the most was the members in my 3 month course. Their stories of hardship and recovery, inspired me to make an impact in the lives of my friends and family, to dissuade and help them avoid driving under the influence under all circumstances. It was a situation I had never been in, speaking with a group of strangers about our lives, circumstances of our incidents, and avoidance techniques. During a result of this course, that I learned a lot about myself andsolidified my avoidance solutions, to never repeat this mistake. I continue to use my personal experience to influence my friends and family to the dangers and consequences of driving under the influence, and I have since stayed out of trouble

Way too much. Just write 1) the charge, 2) the disposition 3) fine/jail time, and 4) that you are sorry and it wont happen again. Four short sentences; that is all. The bit about your day in jail is especially ill advised.

Addendums should only be a few sentences long, if that. I don't think you have to tell the whole story. Summarize what happened and why. Put it simply. The end.
