Should I write an addendum?

Post by ctacoronti » Sat Jan 07, 2012 10:33 am

During my first year of undergrad, I really hated the school I had decided to go to (though my grades remained solid). To make matters worse, it was a private school and very expensive. I transferred to a local 4-year public school. The public school is ranked lower than the private school, but does have some well-recognized programs. It was free for me to attend the public school and I started graduate school there since I loved it so much (and my grades remained very strong).

I have already written an addendum about why I chose not to complete my graduate degree and why I have a current break in full-time employment. Should I write an addendum about this transfer as well?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Why would you write an addendum if your grades remained strong?

Don't annoy the adcomms with an unnecessary addendum.
