Should I submit a DS to a school that doesn't ask for one?

A few of the schools to which I'm applying don't ask for a DS nor do they indicate one as an optional submission. But I think my DS is stronger than my PS.

Would it be unwise to submit a DS as an attachment anyway?

You're doing it wrong, your DS shouldn't be stronger than your PS. But to answer your question, you can submit one even if they didn't explicitly ask for one.
