Required "Why X?"

Just wanted to know if it was appropriate to mention affordable, in-state tuition in a required "Why X?"

seems like a damn good reason to me. should be okay so long as its not the only reason you gave :)

haha I thought it was fine. But the person who edited it for me thought the school might not appreciate me listing that as a reason. I disagreed, so she responded "Fine, ask TLS."

It's not my only reason. Just a quick, two-sentence mention.

i have read more than one admission dean's interview that specifically mention low cost of attendance as enticement so i think you're good
