Formatting for application essays

Post by aaramil » Tue Oct 18, 2011 10:43 am

This may be a novice question, but does the PS and DS require a header? I think it looks more professional if included, but I want to maximize the fairly limited amount of page length required. Since they are being attached and submitted electronically, the adcomms are aleady aware which file is the PS, DS, Why X, etc.

A decent header should be:

[Name], [LSAC #]. [Title Document].

This should be at the top of the page, either side is fine. However, it shouldn't be a different font of your statement itself-- so, this won't "maximize" your statement size by very much.
