PS about facing non-traditional prejudice. Help! Forum

I am looking for some tips on the first part of my PS and the general direction I'm taking it. Though I'm a WASP-y female, I have a non-traditional family and am writing about the prejudices I faced because of it as a child. I am afraid I'm going in the wrong direction with it.
