"Although I could have easily taken a van to the finish line," is a memorable line that is likely to distinguish your law school personal statement about one's first marathon from the other several thousand similiar essays.

This is a safe & predictable personal statement--at the expense of originality--that is unlikely to help or hurt your chances of admission to law school.

When you say per lap, so you mean per 800 meters or per lap on a track?

I mean 800 meters. I will clarify that going forward.

Thanks for the feedback!
