It is not a terrible idea but your PS should be about you. Do not tell their story, tell yours.

Are you Armenian?

In a one page DS you don't really have much space to both explain your great-grandparents' story and really discuss how this has effected your, your views of your ethinicity, what you can bring to LS, etc. Certainly you should introduce the factors the affect how you view your identity, but it should be mostly about you.
