School requests Addenda

Post by pseudonym1 » Sat Jan 22, 2011 10:53 am

I was recently put on hold by a school which requested that I add material to my file in order to help them "return a favorable decision". I was just wondering, should I try to explain away TWO bad lsat scores? I had bad testing conditions both times, but I'm sure it wasn't noted by any of the proctors. Therefore, I feel I would come off as disingenuous.

This is an odd, almost cryptic request. I recently had a school ask me to expound upon 2 of my addenda, but they explicitly told what I needed. In your case, it's almost like the school is giving you one last chance to come up with a final marketing pitch.

I think you need to provide us with more detail about your app. What were your scores (and how do they rank at the school), how's your gpa rank at the school, did you add any type of DS, did your PS leave the door open to discuss any thing else?

That is an odd request....but at least they are giving you an opportunity to do so. Any C&F issues that weren't disclosed?
