Do I need to mention the schools name?
I am done with my PSs and am wondering if I should change the words "law school" to the schools individual names for each application. I worry that if I dont then they will know my essays were used for multiple applications and discount me for it. But im also worried that if I just plug in the schools name towards the end of the essay, it will just cheapen the whole thing. Any advice?

I made mine general, not mentioning any school in particular. I figure the adcomms assume I'm applying to multiple schools. If I want to get specific about what a school offers, I can write a "Why X" essay.

Don't mention the school on less you have a reason to do so. By the sound of it you do not. EVERYONE applies to many schools and reuses their essay, don't fret.gtrwanka wrote:I am done with my PSs and am wondering if I should change the words "law school" to the schools individual names for each application. only mention the school name if you are writing a WHY(school name)? Everyone uses the same ps, and most people apply to more than one school. I think LSAC recommends that people apply to 7 schools ( 2 safeties, 3 targets, and 2 reaches) so law schools know you will be most likely applying to more than just their school ( unless you are said law school or bust)
