Need Advice: Found a typo/omission in my diversity statement

Post by hjag » Mon Jan 17, 2011 4:26 am

After I sent my apps to my schools, I realized there was a typo in my diversity statement. More like, I'm missing a "to" after "able." (Should have read "able to")

Somehow, this escaped my attention the 2-3 times i proofread it, as well as the writing tutor who looked over my essay. Goodness.

Do you guys know if it's possible to call into those 3 schools and request to submit an edited version? I haven't gone complete yet.

Thanks!

It certainly is possible, but I don't think I would. Something like this doesn't change the meaning of the sentence, it isn't offensive, and they probably won't even notice it unless you draw attention to it.
