Stupid topic?

Post by carboy67 » Tue Nov 23, 2010 3:56 pm

I want to write about my interest of different types of people and how thats made me social and able to network well with others. I talk about how networking with others has helped me get to places I've wanted to be in undergrad and how its helped me contribute to organizations and other things I have been a part of. Lastly, I talk about how it will make me a good student for XYZ law school because these skills will allow me to work well in student organizations, bring others together to learn from each others diverse experiences, and make me someone who wants to come back and communicate with students when i am an alumnus.

Let me know what you think

I think any topic can be good, depending on the writing. Though this does sound like "I like people so I want to go to law school" which sounds a bit odd.

It's not really why I wanna go to law school but what i can contribute to law school. A lot of people have said that its fine to write about what you can contribute to a school v. what the school and the education will do for you

I think that's right. So long as you say something interesting/compelling you'll be fine. It actually sounds like a unique angle.
