From what I understand, being Asian is not considered an ethnic minority when it comes to law schools admissions.
So is it ok to write about my experiences being discriminated against in school because I'm Asian?

OR

Should I write about having moved around a lot? open to new cultures, new perspective etc.

To answer the title it is anyone who is not in the majority. I would write something that is personal and different. Write about something that only relates to you.

Don't write about discrimination unless you have some really strong examples. Think about what adcoms will remember among "discriminated against" essays. The second one sounds much better if you can do it in a deeply personal way.

People who are not URMs or even Ms (minorities), can write DSs. So either topic is acceptable.
