Footnote?

Post by NYC_7911 » Sat Nov 06, 2010 5:56 pm

I'm sure this has been addressed, but a quick search didn't produce anything. I'm using a very short quote from a novel in my PS, just as a means of adding some color (not centering my statement around a quote). I want to give credit, but there's no way to do it gracefully in the text. Would it look ridiculous to put a footnote with the book, author and pub year? It would be the only occurence in the statement. Thoughts? Thanks!
