I wouldn't mention it. I'm on the same boat you are but that might sound like an excuse. Softs aren't that important after all and by mentioning it you might highlight a weak spot on your application.

I've worked 3 months in the last 3 years... How bad is that? I have a good reason to explain that, but should I?
