My first PS was too clinical, so people told me to make it more personal. My second PS was a variation of the first, only it was depressing and it kind of turned people off. Now I'm considering a completey different approach that is more lighthearted (my passion for listening to and playing music).
Does that sound like an acceptable personal statement?
I understand it doesn't directly connect to the law, but the way I approach to music (analyzing small details, constantly rehearsing, developing unique relationships, etc.) is tangentially related.

I think it sounds like a fine topic.
Your PS doesn't have to be "why law" - if you can write well and with enthusiasm about music, go for it.
