PS length ...Review my ideas?

Post by JJDancer » Tue Oct 26, 2010 1:08 pm

I thought of a few things i might want to talk about in my PS (related to one topic).
I'm not yet at the "this is exactly what my PS says about me and I know exactly how I will say it" point.
But I'm pretty sure when I finish fleshing out my ideas today it will be around 2000 words...
LOL

has anyone done it this way to see what the most important things are/what the most compelling points are and then edit like hell?

After I finish: Would anyone be willing to review my long ideas and tell me what they think is most useful/powerful?

I wrote probably 20-30 pages worth of material before settling on the first actual draft of my PS.

That makes me feel better.

Anyone else have thoughts?

Consider writing a rough draft before seeking opinions.

I would just write down whatever comes to mind... doesn't matter if it's 100,000 words... this way you have a nice bank of ideas to pick and choose from. But the final PS should ~600-700 words or so

Just my point of view...
