A couple of the schools I am applying for recommend a 4 page PS. If that is their recommendation, do they actually want a 4 page PS?

University of Florida says not to exceed 4 double spaced pages

Florida State says full use of the typed, double spaced, four pages is recommended

Right now I'm at exactly 2 pages. Now I need to decide how to "fix" my statement to meet these guidelines.

Berkley Boalt Hall also says limited to 4 double spaced pages.
I'm trying to make general 2 pages PS.
Should I expand it to 4 pages?
