It's most likely a bad idea to use this topic. A solid but safe PS is recommended in the vast majority of cases. A risky PS is only recommended if you have nothing else to lose. It seems like you do not fit in this category.

The people who read your essay will vary by school. At some schools, all of the readers are members of the admissions office. At others, there are faculty members, alumni, and current students who review applications.
Additionally, I believe that application materials are retained and sent on to the state bar character committee after you graduate.
