Length of Diversity Statement Forum

Hi all,

I'm about to begin my DS and was wondering about a suitable length. I was thinking one page, 1'' margins and 11pt font -- does this seem reasonable? Thanks for your feedback!

I was also wondering this, especially when it comes to Columbia.

Mine is 500 words and a little under a 1.5 pages. This would be good to know, I really have no clue as to how long they should be.

Two pages max, but try to keep it to one page. Powerful and concise. They don't want to read another lengthy personal statement. Btw I found this out all by using the search function, look there for more advice.

Last year, mine was 425, and I kept it all on a single page. I think the advice to keep it as close to one page as you can is spot on. The length that the OP specified seems reasonable.
