A few days before I was to take the December 2009 LSAT, I came down with the flu. Summoning up all my energy, I decided to take it anyway. In hindsight, it probably wasn't the best idea I've ever had. Between figuring out what summer school classes Alicia can and can't take and where an organization should hold its annual meetings, I was praying to God almighty for the sweet release of death. Needless to say, I should have canceled. But as evidenced by this addendum, I did not. Fast forward to June 2010, when I was able to take it again, this time free from death's grip, and the results speak for themselves.

Yeah, I'm not seeing the tautology there either. But that's not the real issue here - the fact that this isn't a good addendum is. If you knew you were sick and knew you probably underperformed, then why didn't you cancel in the days after the test was over? If the "results speak for themselves" then let them speak for themselves in your application.
