Law School Resys....In Need of a Sample!!

Post by NaijaLaw » Sat Jul 17, 2010 1:32 am

I've been on websites trying to find what exactly a law school resume looks like, and I'm still confused...so if anyone who HAS ALREADY BEEN ACCEPTED would like to post their resume as an example for how to format, it would be much appreciated :)

I submitted the resume that I used to find my last job - updated of course. The only change that I made was I moved the academic stuff toward the top and the work experience stuff a bit lower. I emphasized my academic awards/scholarships over my military awards.
It is just a normal resume. No need to worry.

What do you think about removing the academic info completely off the resume since it is already on my transcript? I've been out of school a few years and my work experience have doubled, and I don't think the resume should go over 1pg right?

I would second the request for a sample/template law school application resume if anyone would be willing :)

While they already know your education info, I would keep it on there. It's a pretty essential part of your resume.
